The IMSA Project

The new Primary School building is almost completed and will be accommodated very soon! We will begin building the new Secondary School building and the rest of the facilities at our Gallipoli Campus which will complete a fascinating architecture within the precinct. Maarif is not only designed to meet the growing need for an educational facility but to serve its local community in the same faith and culture as it will be opening its doors to the wider community for cooperation and collaboration.

Our project incorporates and supports facilities organised around a central community heart, confirmative with the demographic structure of the community. Attached to the ‘Civic Heart’ of the school, the community facilities are a magnificent design of excellence catering to the needs and utilisation of the community with a physical area of over 1.200 SQM including a multipurpose hall, reception, cultural room, male and female prayer rooms, open space for versatility and flexibility and also with an additional 503 SQM library which will also be utilised for community welfare. Consequently, Maarif is designed to display its cultural philosophy and vision with a cultural hub to serve the community.

Both the Primary and Secondary Maarif buildings are designed to cater to and encourage students for a fascinating experience of learning in the 21st century. Through extensive consultation and a collaborative process with stakeholders, the design has undergone an iterative design evolution. It reflects the educational philosophy of the school. Contemporary spaces for teaching and learning offer agility and flexibility to accommodate a variety of groups, learning styles and settings. The design is based on considered responses to the needs of teachers and learners, founded in research, and built on experience.
