Primary to Secondary School Re enrolment Policy (Year 6 → Year 7)
Purpose of This Policy
This policy explains the process and expectations for students moving from Year 6 (Primary) to Year 7 (Secondary) at International Maarif Schools of Australia. Its aim is to ensure a smooth, supportive and transparent transition for all families.
Eligibility for Re-Enrolment
Students currently enrolled in Year 6 are not automatically guaranteed a place in Year 7. Re-enrolment is based on the following criteria:

- Students must demonstrate satisfactory academic achievement and effort across all primary subjects.
- Continuous improvement and commitment to learning are taken into account.
2.2 Behaviour & Conduct
- Students must display behaviour consistent with the Maarif values and Behaviour Code.
- Persistent behavioural concerns may affect re-enrolment.
2.3 Attendance
- A minimum attendance level of 80–90% throughout the year is required unless supported by medical documentation.
- Unexplained or frequent absences may impact re-enrolment.
2.4 School Fees
- All financial obligations must be settled before re-enrolment can be confirmed.
- Families with outstanding fees will not be able to proceed with re-enrolment until accounts are cleared or a payment plan is approved.
